On #GivingTuesday this year we’re launching a social media campaign on Facebook to raise money for our Empowerment Houses project. This project aims to create homes for the many homeless and severely impoverished people across Jackson. Those who live in these houses will be able to live at a flexible rate that meets their income so long as they are working with us to find empowerment in the various areas of their life.

Down the road we believe that we can buy these houses through grants, but right now we need a pilot house to show evidence that our project works. Since we know that there are houses we can purchase for this project at about $60k, our social media campaign will aim for that number. While we don’t expect to bring in that much, any amount brought in will go towards this project. Help us by sharing our post on that day!
