Join us at 5:30pm at the Jackson Interfaith Shelter to get ready for the morning homeless count. We’ll take off at 6pm to the areas that have been assigned to us and look for unsheltered homeless people in our community until we feel like we’ve checked everywhere. If you have to leave sooner to go to work, that’s no problem.

Every year communities are asked to go out into the surrounding area and count and document as many unsheltered homeless people as they can. The number that they return with is used to bring money into local organizations that take care of the homeless. Come count with us so that we can increase Jackson's funds and make sure everyone has a home!
