Gospel Recording Artist Shantelle Hawkins has laid and travailed on the altar for over 30 years to birth her music ministry career. Shantelle was given the name “Fearless Prophetic Worshipper,” because her prophetic praise echoes deliverance as she bravely goes to war against the powers of darkness and often hear the "Sounds of Victory". She has traveled across the states sharing platforms and pulpits with many of gospel greats. She describes her most valued and memorable moments being the time spent pursuing the presence of the Holy Spirit, witnessing the atmosphere shifting and yokes being broken off of God’s people through worship.

Steven is the lead pastor of The Foundery Church in Wellsburg, WV. His encounter with Holy Spirit as a teenager pushed him to search for and recognize God's workings in his life and those around him. He believes there is a (w)holistic approach to the ministry we do for the Kingdom of God.

But now our board comes forward with a new direction that we think fits all of the words we’ve been hearing from the Spirit and something that matches our DNA as 1208 and as Church in general.

The Prophets Call Us to the Poor

There are two major streams of the prophetic in the church today. One form is of a more supernatural perspective, where God speaks to people and they speak out his word. The other form is of a more natural perspective, where the poor are preached about and actions are taken to provide for them. But these two streams shouldn't be separated. If God truly is supernaturally speaking to us, he will at some point speak to us about the poor. The prophetic life is both supernatural and natural—preaching and action.

The New Creation Spirit of Pentecost

As the mighty rushing wind of the Holy Spirit blows through the early church, their lives are empowered and transformed into something different. The new creation to come begins to burst out of these Christians in power, in character, and even sociologically.

It doesn't work well for us to simply stop doing something—we must replace bad things with good things as the Holy Spirit grows his fruit in us. Mark takes these principles in directions that feed well into our sociology and our personal lives.
